Plot:
The daughter of the King of Provence, blind from birth, Rene, thanks to her father's efforts, does not know about her illness. She is engaged to Robert, Duke of Burgundy. The father hopes to restore his daughter's sight before the wedding, with the help of a Moorish doctor.
