Plot
Storyline
Going Vertical is a film based on real events that occurred in 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. It focuses on a legendary final battle between USSR and USA basketball teams.
The film tells us about the incredible events that occurred at the 1972 Olympics in Munich. The USSR basketball team was able to defeat the unbeatable Americans in the final of the basketball tournament. Three seconds before the end of the match, the Americans led by one point advantage. The Americans have already begun to rejoice in the victory, they were sure that in these three seconds the outcome of the match will not change. But not only the outcome of the match changed, but the whole basketball history.
