A conglomerate offers to sponsor a TV show if influencer Christina Chance scores 2 million hits with a live Christmas special, featuring her family at home. Alas, towel-only hunk Steve who caught the public's eye was mistakenly believed her husband, it's an actor and her mother Wanda's lover, so he must be hired, as well as a Santa, whom she confuses with the already unenthusiastic director, Devon. Despite help from grandpa Rick, the kids feel abused and things go wrong. Christina and Devon are fired, but Santa gives them a magical way out: they can do over the whole day. That still takes many tries, and finally hitting two million isn't enough, Christmas magic requires seasonal happiness, which only succeeds when their focus shifts fittingly.
