A Deadly Adoption {2015} HDTV X264 AC3-MRG

Living in the small town of Storm Lake, upper-middle-class married couple Robert and Sarah Benson faced a life-changing incident five years ago when a freak accident led to a then-pregnant Sarah, an organic hobby farmer, losing her baby and becoming unable to conceive any more children. Feeling guilty for not fixing their broken dock, which caused the accident, Robert, an author of personal financial-management self-help books, took to the bottle, although he has now been sober for six months. Robert dotes on their only child, 6-year-old Sully, and obsesses over her diabetes. Robert and Sarah are pursuing adoption because Sarah believes that another child would bring much-needed balance to their lives and lift Robert from the funk he's been in since his last book tour, about which he remembers little because of his drinking and hard partying. Sarah and Robert believe that they've finally found the perfect adoption mother in Bridgette Gibson, a young woman in a difficult personal situation, currently staying in a shelter, so they decide to let her stay with them for the three months until the baby's birth. But Bridgette hasn't entered their lives by accident: she orchestrated it with her redneck boyfriend Dwayne Tisdale, and to get what she alone wants, she's keeping one secret from Dwayne and another from the Bensons. These secrets are added to one kept by Robert, who must balance his against his family's best interest in whether to come clean. This mixture of secrets has the potential to lead to deadly consequences.
