A handsome man approaches Freddie and reveals that he is Jamal, her prison pen pal. He has just been released from prison after serving seven years for armed robbery. Freddie is very nervous, but agrees to keep his past a secret. Ron turns over his duties as janitor of Whitley's dorm to Jamal and lets him sleep on his couch.
