Plot
Storyline
When food correspondent, Carly, gets a shot at her own show, she is sent to Angel Heights to help Grant open his diner and film it as a Holiday special for her TV show. Will Grant and Carly open their hearts too?
Star chef's Chicago restaurant went bust, but he found an investor to start a quality diner "'Salt and Pepper" at small town Angel Heights. It's also the home town of TV food correspondent Carly Hayes, where she must produce a Christmas festival pilot to get her own show format "A Chef's recipe" approved by TV channel CSN. They both -and his kid daughter Tess- stay with her grandmother Delia, who used to run a restaurant. Their PR win-win and romantic potential are compromised by CSN executive Martha's unilateral intervention.
