Plot
Storyline
Six years after their Guantanamo Bay adventure, stoner buds Harold Lee and Kumar Patel cause a holiday fracas by inadvertently burning down Harold's father-in-law's prize Christmas tree.
It's been six long years since they shared their last joint in Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (2008), and now, fate, and a mysterious package with Harold's name on it, bring the two estranged friends together on Christmas Eve. With an impeccable, prize-winning Fraser Fir burned to the ground, a gift from Harold's no-nonsense father-in-law, Mr Perez, Harold and Kumar, along with their new best friends, Todd and Adrian, embark on a white-knuckled, cocaine-dusted quest to find the perfect replacement Christmas tree in the empty night streets of Manhattan. But, anything that can go wrong, will go wrong, and time is running out. Can the once-close-knit friends save Christmas, and their tattered relationship?
