Haruyuki Arita is a short, chubby, socially isolated junior high student who is frequently bullied by his classmates. To escape his reality, he spends hours online playing games where he excels, but feels powerless in real life. One day, he is suddenly introduced to a mysterious program called Brain Burst by Kuroyukihime, the popular vice‑president of the student council.
