In London, Fred Hill and Emily "Em" Hill are happily married, but Fred is dissatisfied with his routine life. Out of the blue, he receives a telegram from his wealthy uncle saying that he will anticipate part of his inheritance in life to allow Fred and Em visit the world. They travel in a transatlantic, but Fred is seasick and stays in their cabin. Em meets the bachelor Commander Gordon and she has a crush on him. Meanwhile Fred recovers and meets The Princess and spends most of the time with her. Soon Fred and Em have love affairs with The Princess and Gordon, who falls in love with Em. In Singapore, when Em learns that The Princess is a gold-digger, she leaves Commander Gordon to protect Fred that does not treat her well. But soon he learns the truth about The Princess.
