Plot
Storyline
A teenage girl with nothing to lose joins a traveling magazine sales crew, and gets caught up in a whirlwind of hard partying, law bending and young love as she criss-crosses the Midwest with a band of misfits.
Craving freedom and adventure, Star, a free-spirited teenage girl, escapes her chaotic home life. And soon, Jake, the cocky lead salesman of a door-to-door magazine subscription team, enters her life. As they embark on a road trip across the scenic landscapes of the American Midwest, Star discovers a sense of belonging in Jake's lively band of teenage misfits.
