Plot
Storyline
The time change and a case of mistaken identity result in a wonderful blind date for Trish and Parker, but is it enough to keep them together?
Fire department paramedic Parker hasn't dated since his wife's traumatizing death inspired his career switch. Surprised, he fails to straighten out talkative pastry baker Trish Harper, who mistakes him for attorney, the blind date her meddling sister Chloe arranged, as she forgot to adapt her alarm clock to the Summer time. They have a blast, but when Trish finds out he 'lied to her', she blames him and ultimately stops dating him in favor of 'real Adam', a self-absorbed career lawyer. Cued by fire department colleagues, Parker sweetly apologizes, but loses patience when wrongly assumed to cheat on her due to a picture of his late wife. The cup cake baking competition she prepared to enter would have fallen through hadn't it been for the recipe she devised in Parker's honor, and he's on safety watch at the event.
