Anna, Kisan Baburao Hazare is a biopic based on the life accounts of social crusader, popularly known as Anna in the country. The film depicts the journey of barely educated common man, Kisan Hazare who tries to commit suicide in his young days but a book written by Swami Vivekananda opens his eyes to such an extent that he decides to sacrifice the matrimonial wish of his parents for him and commit his entire life for the welfare of others.The journey of his life touches various important social issues like rural development, cleanliness, RTI Act, transparency in the system, fight against corruption etc. At the end of his life his hunger strike unto death puts him on national front that eventually forces the govt to offer LOKPAL, an important law to fight massive corruption of the country.
