Plot
Storyline
Two hip detectives protect a witness to a murder while investigating a case of stolen heroin from the evidence storage room from their police precinct.
When $100 million worth of confiscated heroin disappears without a trace right under the nose of the Miami Police Department, Detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett suspect it was an inside job. Knowing it only takes a leak to turn this fiasco into a media frenzy, they have 72 hours before the FBI and DEA shut the entire narcotics division down.
