Plot
Storyline
Two hip detectives protect a witness to a murder while investigating a case of stolen heroin from the evidence storage room from their police precinct.
When $100 million worth of confiscated heroin disappears without a trace right under the nose of the Miami Police Department, Detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett suspect it was an inside job. Knowing it only takes a leak to turn this fiasco into a media frenzy, they have 72 hours before the FBI and DEA shut the entire narcotics division down. As bullets start flying, collateral damage makes the case personal, leaving the life of a beautiful material witness hanging in the balance.
