Plot
Storyline
Baduk is the name of the child who works in smuggling, due to poverty he and his sister separated, the sister will work as a maid, he keeps trying to reach his sister in vain, finally he escaped from Iran because he thinks that his sister left Iran, he discovered later on that she is still in Iran.
Powerful drama portraying the hardships and strength of spirit of two children. After their father is killed in a well cave-in, Jafar and Jamal are kidnapped while walking along the road, and sold into slavery. While Jamal is dressed in fancy silks and shipped off to be the playmate of a Saudi prince, Jafar is forced to smuggle goods over the Pakistan and Iran border as a badook. Escaping his captors, however, Jafar sets off with his new friend Noredin on a quest to free Jamal - and their adventure builds towards a gripping climax that won't be forgotten. Screened at the Director's Fortnight at Cannes in 1992, 'Deep Breath' is not to be missed.
