Plot
Storyline
Women's prison tale, with Lina Romay as Maria who is jailed after killing her father, played by director Jess Franco, who tries to rape her. Lesbian wardens, torture, nudity, sex, insanity and conspiracy round out the formula.
Maria, a hapless woman accused of having a hand in killing her father, finds herself under lock and key at an impenetrable, all-women island prison. There, brutal guards use day-to-day humiliation, electrocution, and sexual abuse to break a prisoner's spirit. As a result, it doesn't take Maria long to realise that the camp is a barbaric hell house rife with misery and perverse pleasure. As the sadistic monocled Wardress, famous for retrieving information at all costs, has her way with the helpless inmates, Maria plucks up the courage to run away. But as she hatches her daring plan, a question emerges. Has anyone ever escaped the house of pain and lived to tell the tale?
