How well - or at all - did we know Jacek Kaczmarski, the outstanding poet and singer? From the document, which is an attempt to draw a complex, multi-dimensional portrait, an image of a tragic figure emerges: torn between the passion for creation, perfectionism and his own weaknesses. It is also an attempt to deal with the myth of the "Bard of Solidarity", which bothered the charismatic creator of "Walls" and contributed to his later sense of alienation.
