Plot
Storyline
In 1796, Captain George Bryan "Beau" Brummell of the 10th Royal Hussars Regiment offends the Prince of Wales with his straightforward outspokenness and gets fired from the Army but is chosen as the Prince's personal advisor.
Army Captain George Bryan "Beau" Brummell manages the unlikely feat of insulting the Prince of Wales and then being befriended by him. Brummell leaves the Army and becomes the Prince's friend and beneficiary. Brummell makes a name for himself with his stylishness, becoming the tastemaker for all of Europe. But another insult costs him the Prince's good graces, and Brummell's future prospects plummet. Only the love of Lady Patricia seems likely to rescue him from disaster.
