Plot
Storyline
19-year-old Billy Lynn is brought home for a victory tour after a harrowing Iraq battle. Through flashbacks, the film shows what really happened to his squad - contrasting the realities of war with America's perceptions.
19-year-old US Army private, Billy Lynn's caught on-camera helping to bring a fellow unit member to safety during an intense firefight in Iraq. This act earns him the Silver Star and quickly brings the team celebrityhood, an unwanted PR caravan all of which culminates in the typically hokey halftime show at a Dallas Cowboys' Thanksgiving home game.
