Plot
Storyline
A reclusive, blind photojournalist lives quietly in a New York penthouse, until a smooth but sadistic criminal looking for a hidden fortune enters her life.
New York City, New Year's Eve. Sara Frost, a former photographer who is now permanently blind from an explosion three years ago when she was covering the war in Afghanistan, is preparing for a small gathering in her and her boyfriend Ryan's upscale penthouse apartment in Brooklyn this evening to ring in the new year with her pregnant sister Blake and Blake's husband Danny. When Sara returns home after a trip to the liquor store, she discovers that someone has invaded the apartment, the man who begins to terrorize her. She will learn that he choosing her is not by chance as he is looking for something and will kill to get it back, kill her especially if he believes she knows where it is. What happens in this matter will be affected by triggers for her back to the explosion in Afghanistan and the imminent New Year's Eve celebrations.
