Plot
Storyline
An ordinary man goes against all odds and forges his destiny to become a 'Big Shot'.
Balraj a street fighter who also blacks tickets at Regal cinema falls in love with a Jazz singer Rosie when he sees her with a wealthy men he also decides to become rich to win Rosie's heart but by means of shortcut. Larsen a smuggler hires him to work for him but a deal goes wrong and Balraj's friend Chiman gets arrested further Balraj and Chiman come across a wealthy businessmen Kaizaad Khambhatta who gets inspired by Balraj and hires him. Khambhatta christens Balraj to Jhonny and gives him the charge to manage his Bombay Velvet Club from where Khambahtta conducts all his illegal activities. Balraj and Chiman photograph minister Desai in awkward position with a women and Khambhatta blackmails him to get his deal done. The news reaches a media tycoon Jimmy Mistri who asks Rosie who sings in Bombay Velvet to get photo negative from Jhonny as he fantasies her. Another photograph during a secret meeting of all big shots at a club goes in media Khambhatta suspects Rosie and wants her dead which develops rivalry between him and Jhonny.
