Ronojit and Mrittika Chatterjee are a naive, young couple. Ronojit is an extremely simple hearted and loving personality. Mrittika is devoted to her husband, but understands that she needs to take steps to secure their future. Innocent yet assertive Mrittika, by chance gets an opportunity, to entertain affluent visitors coming to Kolkata, by singing for them. Here she meets Debdutta, a reputed music director, who offers them a dream of a steady and progressive life. The roller-coaster journey of circumstances, drive Mrittika to take drastic measures to fulfill her ambitions and aspirations. A twist in the tale in the climax leaves the audience with certain questions that they have to answer in the isolation of their bedrooms.
