Steve Rogers life has been spent on military school or in the military. He now wants to travel around the country. But a man Simon Mills calls him and tells him his father develop a serum that can give enhanced abilities to whoever takes it. But because his father used his own biological material to make it. Anyone who takes it who is not a cellular match will die. But because Steve is his father's sob his cells might be a match. But he declines. Later a friend calls him so Steve goes to. Him and finds him dead. When he calls it in. Simon shows up and informs him the man is working on the neutron bomb. Later someone forces Steve off the road and he crashes. While in a coma Simon decides to give him the serum and it saves him and he's not rejecting it. Steve is indifferent to this but sticks around. His friend's daughter calls him Andre tries to help find out what happened to her father. Simon makes a special van and motorcycle for Steve. And makes a costume for him . A she adopts the identity of captain America.
