Plot Storyline
Dr Nookey, disgraced, is sent to remote island hospital. Staff member Gladstone Screwer gives him secret slimming potion. Nookey flies to England for fame and fortune. Others try to cash in or bring him down.
Largely follows the exploits of three people associated with the British medical profession. The first is Dr. Jim Nookey, who admits he has a wandering eye for the pretty girls, and seems to cause one incident after another at Long Hampton Hospital where he is a resident. That wandering eye settles on an actress/model with the stage name Goldie Locks, whose bombshell persona masks a true girl next door which is the primary reason Jim would not settle for her despite his obsession. The second is Jim's superior, Dr. Frederick Carver, a sexually inexperienced but professionally ambitious man. While Carver's associate Dr. Ernest Stoppidge does whatever he can to have Jim fired for his misdeeds, Carver does whatever he can to keep Jim on to assist him with the third, wealthy Ellen Moore, a philanthropist who Carver is attracted to sexually but who he is attracted to more for her money and what she could finance of his pet projects. Added to the mix is elderly mentally incapacitated patient Miss Armitage, with who Jim seems to get into one compromising position after another much to her horror, and Gladstone Screwer, an orderly at one of Miss Moore's tropical medical outposts who becomes more silent a non-partner in a lucrative venture than he would like. Mayhem ensues.
