Plot
Storyline
On the way to the biggest race of his life, a hotshot rookie race car gets stranded in a rundown town and learns that winning isn't everything in life.
After a humbling tie in the final race of the prestigious 2006 Piston Cup racing competition, the brash, self-centred rookie sensation, Lightning McQueen, is desperate to win the crucial tiebreaker race held at the Los Angeles International Speedway. However, instead of sunny California, Lightning McQueen ends up in the dilapidated desert town of Radiator Springs, a dusty city located on the legendary but abandoned Route 66. Now, as the cocky racecar finds himself sentenced to community service, only a miracle could get McQueen back on track. Can Lightning McQueen earn his way back to freedom?
