You're not when you believe so much on your philosophy. You're not safe when you qualify success by your works. You're not safe when you think you are saved by merit. You're not safe when you don't see yourself in the picture of who Christ is. You're not safe when the death of Christ has no impact on you. But you are safe when you have the understanding of being saved by the saviour of the World, JESUS.
