Champagne [1928, UK, comedy, DVDRip]

The spoiled Betty is the daughter and heiress of the Wall Street millionaire Mark. She uses his airplane to meet her boyfriend, who is on board of a liner to Paris, and sinks the airplane in the ocean bringing the wrath of her father. During the dinner, he is seasick and a mysterious man seats with Betty at a table. She proposes to marry her boyfriend, but he does not like the idea since he believes she intends to control him. They arrive in Paris and out of the blue, Mark appears and tells Betty that the stock market has crashed, and all the family money is lost. Now Betty is looking for a job, but what she does not know is that the lost of their money is a hoax of her father to lure and punish her.
