Chantal - Misty Mundae (2007) [ENG]

Chantal is a 20-year-old, naive, deluded and innocent young woman from a nameless Hicksville town in Iowa who arrives in Hollywood, California in her quest to become a world-famous actress. Unfamilar with the Tintsletown dialects and the soulless nature of people, Chantal falls victim to the L.A. scene in renting a dirty hotel room, getting mugged in a local park, falls in with a young photographer who forces her to pose for pornography, and suffers the casting couch routine as *every* agent, manager, photographer, and casting director tries to get her in bed with them. Chantal meets and forms a bond with Tracy, a young prostitute who helps her though the dangerous and ruthless life. But Chantal is too innocent and deluded to see how emotionally weak she is and slowly slides downhill towards deprivation which she may never return from.
