Charlie Hunnam (2017) - Papillon

Framed for murder and sentenced to life imprisonment in the nightmarish penal colony on Devil's Island, off the coast of French Guiana, the Parisian safe-breaker Henri Charriere, otherwise known as Papillon from his distinctive butterfly tattoo on his chest, is with his back to the wall. Faced with a fate worse than death, Papillon soon cuts a deal with the notorious forger, Louis Dega, and without delay, he plans their escape, even though solitary confinement awaits those who try to get away.
