Plot
Storyline
A wife pressures her husband to solicit work papers from his civil servant father.
As if Damien didn't have enough problems already, Iva tells him that she has fallen in love with Antoine, the young lead actor in the Chekhov play she is currently directing. Damien throws her out of the apartment, even though their son Noe, who is in the middle of puberty, is still there and they need to keep up appearances. To make matters worse, there is his suicidal chess friend, whom he can never seem to please. Damien is once again caught between two stools. It would be enough to drive him to despair, were it not for the mysterious young woman who works in the restaurant next to his regular bookstore and whom he keeps running into. Ever since she spoke to Damien on the street, he simply cannot get her out of his head.
