Plot
Storyline
Frances is in the pen for killing her abusive husband. The abused the prisoners rise up against the "new plantation" that harvest human labor for profit. Nothing will stop Frances and her fellow inmates in this brutal battle for justice.
A new group of inmates arrive at the Whitehead Correctional Facility, including Frances Shepard, who claims to be innocent. She meets the leaders Nikki Barnes and Wet and shares the cell of the pregnant Lil' Momma. Soon she learns that the corrupt Warden Nelson and Captain Alan Deese exploit the inmates with a slave labor for companies. In addition, Deese sexually abuses the inmates; and his favorite, Aisha, snitches on the other women. When Deese rapes Lil' Momma, who consequently dies with her baby, Nikki, Wet, Frances and Aisha revolt and their riot brings along tragic consequences.
