Storyline
A Green Beret sabotages a Viet Cong HQ, while his team later faces a final ambush after leaving a trapped GI behind with a woman who grows close to him.
During Operation Rock Crusher the invasion of Cambodia a Green Beret Sgt. on a lone recon mission deep behind enemy lines locates the 9th Viet Cong Battalion's radio jamming HQ where he proves why the Green Berets are the masters of deception and ingenuity as he foils the best efforts of the Viet Cong. Later, his team must mop up GI's left behind after the invasion and finds Parker, a Pvt. w/4th Inf Div who was lured away from his unit by Eurasian prostitute Martha where he steps on a land mine that will only explode if he steps off. The Green Berets are unable to effect a rescue so leave him in the care of Martha where a relationship develops. The Green Berets then run into an ambush by the Viet Cong seeking revenge and the Green Beret's are left to make a stand against overwhelming odds leaving Parker two choices--die slow or die fast. Top production values and the winner of four awards include a Telly Award for Entertainment and awards for Directing and Cinematography to Steven Kahler.
