This quest for immortality draws on the dark legend of the murderous Countess Elizabeth Bathory and her vampiric obsession with the warm, bright-red virginal blood. Finally, in "Lucrezia Borgia", the erotic collection concludes with the shocking and scandalous act of incest, featuring the infamous Lucrezia Borgia, daughter of Pope Alexander VI, and her lustful cardinal brother, Cesare Borgia.
