On Saturday, March 12, 2022, at around 2:45 a.m., the Edmonton Police Service was called to Ertale Lounge, located on 118 Avenue NW near 124 Street, after reports of multiple shots being fired outside of the bar. In the direct aftermath of this senseless mass shooting, Members of the Edmonton Police Service followed a car fleeing the scene of the crime. The pursuit led to two men being arrested. Both were charged with first-degree murder and multiple firearms offences. Also wanted by the Edmonton Police Service in this investigation is Saed Osman. Osman is wanted on 20 Canada-wide warrants, including charges of first-degree murder, discharging a firearm with intent, and multiple other firearms offences.
