Plot
Storyline
A mysterious woman, fashion designer by day and prostitute by night, is hounded by two men: a married father of two children and a sexually repressed preacher.
Bobby Grady, married for twelve years to his high school sweetheart Amy, they with two adolescent children, likes to think that he has a good life, but he truly isn't happy. While he likes his work owning an electronics repair shop, he doesn't make much money, at least to buy Amy and the kids those little extras in life of which Amy is constantly reminding him. And his and Amy's sex life of late has been non-existent, not for lack of him trying or him wanting it. To earn some extra money, he agrees to do some nighttime industrial espionage work for a fashion house where the owner Lou Bateman believes one of his designers, Joanna Crane, is selling designs to a competitor. In following her, Bobby learns that Joanna is not selling designs to the competitor, but that she is selling herself, she doing a side hustle in the seedy part of town as a $50/trick hooker under the name China Blue, her specialty tricks involving elaborate role play. With his own marriage falling apart at the seams, Bobby hires her for sex, she having no idea of his connection to her day job. Bobby feels both an emotional and physical attraction in their encounter, and he believe she does too. As he tries to implicate himself into her life more holistically, he may get caught up in her dangerous world, one where a man calling himself Reverend Peter Shayne but is truly a fanatic, blames her and her like for his sins which must be corrected.
