Plot Storyline
Puritan statesman Oliver Cromwell leads England in a civil war against the absolutist and Catholic-sympathetic King Charles I.
Oliver Cromwell is faced with the task of defeating the English King Charles I when royal advisor Edward Hyde tells Cromwell about the ruler's tyranny. Through tears and pain the New Model Army seek revenge on King Charles and Henry. The Roundheads stand up to these benevolent rulers, fighting for better benefits and money for the parliament.
