West Village, Manhattan. A string of sadistic murders terrorises the regulars of the neighbourhood's underground S&M clubs. As a result, lured by the promise of rapid promotion, novice patrolman Steve Burns unwisely enters the shady world of an unspoken subculture. But some doors are best left closed.
