Plot
Storyline
A Vietnamese-American aspiring actress pursues her musical theater dreams despite her mother's disapproval. Through cooking traditional meals together, mother and daughter find mutual understanding.
Yvonne Nguyen, an aspiring actress of Vietnamese origin, dreams of a career on stage acting in musicals, against her mother's wishes. It's in the kitchen's intimacy, between family dishes and traditional recipes, that they will finally manage to communicate,understand and accept both each other.
