Rocco (Wotan Wilke Mohring) regularly invites his closest friends and their partners over for a multi-course dinner. This time, it's not just his overambitious cooking skills but also an idea from his wife Eva (Jessica Schwarz) that sparks some spicy conversation: All guests must place their cell phones on the table and share their messages with everyone else. Admittedly, no one feels comfortable with this. But who wants to admit they have something to hide? Leo (Elyas M'Barek), a family man, secretly asks his buddy Pepe (Florian David Fitz) - the only single person there, with no one to be faithful to - to swap cell phones with him. Leo's wife (Karoline Herfurth) also doesn't want a very personal message to make the rounds. Meanwhile, jealousy arises for the first time between the newly in-love Simon (Frederick Lau) and Bianca (Jella Haase). With each course, interrupted by the host couple's teenage daughter (Emily Kusche), the tension continues to simmer. Now, not only spontaneous excuses but also juicy secrets come to light.
