During some extensive renovations on an eight-storey office building while waiting for an imminent meeting with important clients, the authoritative boss of an advertising company, Colin Davis, makes an ill-advised and fateful decision. Before long, a major gas leak leads to a terrible explosion, injuring many of the staff and trapping the rest between the rooftop and the seventh floor. Now, with the uncontrollable flames spreading rapidly, the dedicated firefighter, Ray Vargas, and his brave companions struggle to provide a safe exit to the survivors, against the backdrop of a fiery maze.
