Plot
Storyline
A widow resorts to desperate measures to protect her three children and her land during the Civil War.
It's been two long years since she last heard from her husband, who left home to fight for the Confederacy, and the resilient mother-of-three, Belle Gatlin Barlow, is starting to accept that he's dead. Left all alone to fend for herself in the dusty town of Deliverance Creek, Missouri, Belle will have to protect everything she holds dear when an unscrupulous banker, her outlaw brother, Jasper, and an immoral neighbour enter the picture. Now, Belle has to face an agonising dilemma. Will she forsake her beliefs for the sake of survival?
