Somewhere in the lush Polish countryside, Gosia, a chaste milkmaid, has her hands full caring for the cattle and her humble homestead. But one warm summer morning, the innocent maiden takes a dip in the lake, unaware of the unseen admirer feasting his eyes on her statuesque body. Then, the following day, Gosia has an unexpected encounter with an enigmatic stranger dressed in black. And as one thing leads to another, the seductive man introduces the pure young lady to the secret pleasures of the flesh and the mysterious ways of the world. Between life and death, there is love.
