Plot
Storyline
A deeply disturbed Vietnam veteran terrorizes the young women of Los Angeles and taunts a radio psychologist with descriptions of his grisly crimes.
As a spate of grisly homicides terrorises sunny Los Angeles, the troubled Vietnam War veteran, violent psychopath, photographer by day, and killer by night, Kirk Smith, remains unnoticed. With the police unable to shed light on the knotty case, psychologist and radio talk-show host, Dr Lindsay Gale, starts receiving disturbing phone calls from Smith, who gradually becomes fixated with her and her unsuspecting patients. But pitiless Kirk is addicted to sadistic brutality, and he gets his kicks from inflicting pain on others. Is there an escape from the clutches of the vicious Hollywood Strangler?
