Present day in London Manu elopes from hospital with a dream of returning to India.She meets her lawyer Puru Patel who tells her it's not possible, it's when she asks him to connect with Hardy whom she last saw twenty five years back.Manu manages to connect with Hardy and asks him to meet in Dubai accompanying her are two friends Baggu and Balli who share the same dream.Flashback revels that Manu,Baggu and Balli lived in small town of Punjab and wanted to work in London to support their families.Once Hardy arrives in their village to return a tape recorder to Manu's brother who had saved his life but finds he passed away.Hardy decides to stay in village and helps the trio.They start to learn English from Geetu Gulati where they meet Suki who wants to go to London to get back his lover whose abused by her husband.During the visa interview only Balli manages to clear and reaches London.This does not go well with Suki who abuses Gulati who then decides to send him illegally to London via Dunki.But Suki commits suicide after he gets the news that his lover did the same as he failed to clear visa interview.Hardy then decides that be it anything he along with Manu and Baggu will go to London via Dunki.But upon reaching they see a different London which they never imagined.
