Trying hard to be at peace with the world, and put behind him his violent days, one-eyed Jack finds it difficult to make ends meet working as a handyman. Then, one day, Jack has a chance encounter with Ella, a charming young mother-of-one, and just like that, life takes an unexpected turn, as her husband owes thousands of dollars to Buzz, the crazed local drug lord.
