Eliza is a twelve year old girl who can talk to animals after she rescued a shaman from a animal trap, but she can't tell Debbie or her family about her ability. During an expedition, Eliza's cheetah cub friend, Tally gets captured by poachers. Debbie throws Eliza under the bus and she is forced to go to a boarding school in London. Concerned about Tally's life, Eliza and her best friend, Darwin head back to Africa so they can rescue Tally from the poachers. Eliza and Darwin soon uncover a dangerous plot when the poachers plan on killing the elephants during an eclipse. However, Eliza's relationship with her sister and her best friend will be put to the test, it will ultimately lead her to face unusual consequences regarding her destiny.
