Plot
Storyline
Ben Winston, son of patient zero of the Psychomalosis epidemic, dedicates himself to finding a cure to the disease that killed his mother.
Ben Winston tries to make contact with survivors of the Psychomalosis epidemic in order to get help for himself and his town. Ben is revealed to have a close connection to Psychomalosis because his mom was the first in the United States to get the disease. After hearing a report over the radio that his town is out of medicine, Ben goes to town hall, and finds out that they do have some medicine, but the supply is so low that he has to pay a large sum of money to receive it. Ben decides to create pills of his own. However, it is a slow process. Eventually, after repeated signals sent out, Jaden Keys responds to Ben, and tells him that he has a cure to Psychomalosis. Ben ventures out to meet with him, but on the way, he is mugged by another group of survivors. They take his pills, but they drop an empty bottle of theirs, which is labeled "Duke Melville". Without pills, Ben gets Psychomalosis on his way to Delwood, and he goes insane. He forgets who he is, and he decides that he must be Duke Melville. He takes on this identity and heads to Ashton.
