Penetrating deep into the heart of cold, mid-19th century Transylvania, the unappreciated genius and feeble vampire hunter, Professor Abronsius, is unaware that he is on the point of reaching the goal of his mysterious investigations. Accompanied by his one and only faithful disciple, Alfred, the intrepid duo ends up in the grim, impregnable castle of the local vampire lord Count von Krolock, shortly after the unaccountable disappearance of a hapless curvaceous maiden.
