Plot
Storyline
A young bride-to-be hired as a housecleaner becomes caught in a tense marital conflict when a wife suspects her husband of infidelity on the eve of a festive night in Tehran.
On the eve of Chaharshanbe Suri, the last Wednesday before the Iranian New Year, Rouhi, a young bride-to-be, begins her first day as a temporary housemaid for a middle-class couple in Tehran. The couple, Morteza and Mojdeh Samiei, are preparing for a vacation to Dubai. Mojdeh, suspecting her husband of infidelity with their neighbor Simin, enlists Rouhi to spy on Morteza. As Rouhi navigates the complex dynamics of the household, she uncovers secrets that challenge her perceptions of love, trust, and morality. Set against the backdrop of the festive chaos of Chaharshanbe Suri, the film explores themes of deception, societal expectations, and the complexities of human relationships.
