Plot
Storyline
Amy moves to Ontario to live with her father after the death of her mother. Her father, an aviation expert, helps Amy lead a flock of orphaned geese south for the winters.
Amy is a young teenager when she loses her mother in a car accident. Because of that, she moves in with her father, Thomas, in Canada. She finds her new life absolutely miserable, until she finds a nest of goose eggs that were abandoned when the developers tore up the forest behind her house. They soon hatch, she becomes their "mother", and takes care of them. Winter quickly arrives, and they must fly south for it. But who will show them the way? It is up to Amy and Thomas to make sure that they find it, and with the assistance of Thomas' invention, they do just that.
